Easily Keep Track of Your Scores
How many times a day do you tell yourself, “There has to be an easier way to do this?” I find myself thinking that often! I was literally in the middle of updating my daughter’s results Excel spreadsheet when I got the email about a new service being offered by a website called Ceili.me which offers you the ability to share your dancer’s results with their TCRG and only their TCRG. Sure enough, there is an easier way to do it! I asked the creator of the website to tell us more about the service being offered:
Hi, my name is Kristen and I am the mother of an Irish dancing daughter and a basketball playing son. We take March Madness to the extreme!! My daughter has been Irish dancing for eight years and has been a competitive dancer for four years.
Earlier this year, our family saw a need to have centralized service to store, sort and share Feis results with her TCRG. My husband being a developer and something of a project junkie decided to take all of our discussions on what we would love to see in a site and bring it to life. Out of those conversations, Ceili.me was born! We are so proud of what we have created and hope that you will find it as useful a tool as we have.
Once you or your child has opened his or her Ceili.me account, an email will be sent to your TCRG inviting him or her to open their Ceili.me Teachers account so that they may easily monitor their students results. This is especially useful in determining advancement in levels and class placements. TCRG’s can sort results by dancer, Feis, level and feis event. No more need to bring in handfuls of paper results to your conferences! All of your information will be stored in one place and easily accessible by both you and your TCRG. Your results are only shared with your TCRG and no one else. This is not a social media site and results will only be seen by you and your teacher.
Ceili.me was created for Irish Dancing families by an Irish Dancing family. We sincerely hope you will find it to be a useful and essential tool as you move along in your Irish Dancing career. Much success to each and every dancer and much to thanks to all the Irish Dancing families that have helped us bring this service to life.
